Steve Riddle Band
The Steve Riddle Band brings a hard-driving blues-rock guitar sound with influences which range from the blues artists of the past to the contemporary sounds of modern rock. To hear the band you might hear shades of their influences: Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Joe Satriani, Phil Keaggy, Eric Johnson, Ian Moore, Eric Gales, Gary Moore, Gov't Mule, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, John Mayer, Lenny Kravitz, Robert Randolph, Lincoln Brewster, Santana, etc. In a live setting the band is even more diverse by blending these guitar influences with passionate worship music.
While their initial release "Glorybound Soul" introduced listeners to the sound of this trio and their powerful inspirational message and featured intense and at times experimental leanings, their latest album "Truth" finds the band merging their many influences into a electric-guitar stew of riffage in an even more accessable format.
